Back In The Saddle

Forgive me brethren for I have sinned. It’s been over 6 years since my last blog post on this site. 

Yes, SIX whole friggin years, and boy a lot happened in that time. No, wait, it’s been more than six years since I “personally” posted because back when this blog was getting a lot of traffic I allowed guest posts from some of my students on here. To be precise, the last post I personally wrote on here was “Life Smack” and that was on May 4th, 2014 so it’s really been SEVEN years almost to the DAY since I’ve posted!

How Ironic that Life Smack was my last personal post on here. That post was about the time I almost lost my mom, and here we are just a year after I actually DID lose my mom and I’m back to posting on my blog. Yes, we lost Mami on April 26th, 2020, we were blessed with some good years together after the leukemia ordeal but she developed several other cancers, and finally last year the Lord called her home. It was hard for me because we were taking care of her at home personally.

Just as COVID-19 was ramping up, my mom’s medical condition started getting progressively worse. We’ve been very blessed throughout the years as a result of our hard work and we were able to buy a 4-acre piece of land in Orlando Florida where we built three houses. Mami’s house was just twenty feet from my back door and it was great to have her close to us. When her condition worsened we converted her house into a mini intensive care unit because I didn’t want her in a hospital or nursing home as COVID lurked the halls.

I am so grateful to God for the extra time he allowed us with Mami. I am grateful for the medical skills and experience he gave me in my prior career which helped me care for her personally with the help of Melinda. I am also grateful for the online business we’ve been able to grow over the last 12 years which provided the financial means and the time freedom to take care of her. In the end, I was able to hold her hand as she went to be my dad and Jesus. We were very blessed because many people lost loved ones to COVID-19 around the same time and they were unable to be next to their loved ones as they passed.

The months that followed were very somber for me and I couldn’t get myself to do much of anything. The downside of caring for a terminally ill loved one at home is that when they finally pass you’re left with memories of them tucked away in every corner of the property. Would you believe that I had the product launch of Viral Traffic Boost scheduled for April 27th, 2020 and Mami passed on the 26th? I was an emotional wreck and in no condition to run a product launch so our good friend and mentor John Thornhill stepped in and handled everything for us. The launch went well in spite of my absence, or.. come to think of it, maybe that’s actually WHY it went so well. Either way, I’m so grateful to John for stepping in without us even asking him to.

As the decade turned over I slowly started getting back into the swing of things. I started writing emails for my subscribers and I picked up on a few projects that I had abandoned back in early 2020. Slowly but surely the train started to pick up steam and we started seeing a difference. Ironically, even without putting much work into the business, our income remained steady in 2020. I actually think it grew a little. Further proof that my business makes more money without me! Now the train is back to speed and I’m ready to get into full gear.

We’ve got a new software launch on the horizon and it’s called CONVERToolz. The product has been in beta with over 700 members for more than 2 years. Our team has been developing testing new features and we’re quite proud of what it is becoming. We really gave a lot of thought to the needs of our followers with this one. In the past, the tools we’ve launched have been things that WE needed and created for us, for our own business needs. Then later we would package them up and sell them to our followers but we’ve taken a different approach with this one. CONVERToolz was created with our subscribers in mind because it handles the things that YOU absolutely need to make money as a vendor and an affiliate in the Internet Marketing space. We are ALREADY doing well in this space, CONVERToolz will help YOU get to where we are because it focuses on YOUR needs as an internet marketer instead of ours. It’s a whole new perspective for us that I know will pay off BIGTIME, especially for our subscribers.

In addition to CONVERToolz, there are a couple of other projects underway including the ACE revamp and the brand spanking new LaunchPad 2021 training course. The new LaunchPad guides members through the creation and launch of a digital info product in the CURRENT online climate, using the most current tools and training. We don’t have dates for the rollout of LaunchPad or ACE yet but I’m super excited about the developments in both. The new ACE is mind-blowing, it’s a super funnel and marketing automation system for members to make high ticket commissions on autopilot. The new ACE uses never before seen technology that we invented ourselves in the past year!

Anyway, me thinks this is a pretty good spot to draw the line for my catch-up post. I’m not going to promise a consistent stream of articles on here because I know myself and I don’t want to let you down. BUT, I can foresee a revamp of this blog in the near future and I recommend you subscribe to the blog list if you want to stay informed of all the Martin shenanigans that are soon to come.
