<p>So what exactly is a &#8220;Tweet?&#8221; &#8211; well its a small post of text no longer than 140 characters that answers one basic question &#8220;What are you doing now?&#8221; Twitter is a micro-blogging platform. Thats just a fancy way of saying: &#8220;a way to communicate with others via tiny spurts of updates.&#8221;</p>
<p>So how does Twitter work? &#8211; well you create a free account and invite people to follow your updates. They see your &#8220;Tweets&#8221; in their timeline and their followers can now follow you etc. etc. So as you can see its pretty viral and your follower base can grow quickly.</p>
<p>For internet marketers like us Twitter is an precious tool. Once you learn to utilize it&#8217;s power, Twitter creates a raving fan base that you can convert into customers. The key phrase here is &#8220;Once you learn to utilize its power!&#8221;</p>
<p>You see, like with anything else there is a right way and a wrong way to use Twitter. Just as easily as you can build raving fans you can also rub people the wrong way and enter a downward spiral that creates the opposite effect!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anyone who says &#8220;Money is the root of all evil&#8221; simply doesn&#8217;t have any and most likely never will.</p>
<p>My sincere effort here is to educate and not to brag or boast. If you&#8217;re looking to poke the iron prod at things I say then just click away now because more than likely the years of negative financial programming your brain has endured will simply preclude my message from getting through. However, if you are tired of whining about needing more money and you&#8217;re ready to start attracting financial success&#8230;  stick around, you just might learn something.</p>
<p>First of all, know this&#8230;  I don&#8217;t think money is the most important thing in life, but I put it up there with OXYGEN. You simply need it to live and the less of it you have&#8230; the harder it is to breathe. Did you know that only 21% of the air you inhale is actually oxygen? The rest is mostly nitrogen and some miscelaneous other gases. Then when you exhale &#8211; that air also contains mostly oxyegen as well &#8211; thats why CPR works.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>Why am I telling you this? Well, in hopes to open your eyes to the &#8220;scarcity mentality&#8221; you&#8217;ve been brainwashed to believe your whole life.</strong></em></p>
<p>On a daily basis I get &#8220;Whiner Emails&#8221; &#8211; You know the ones right? -  It&#8217;s basically an email from someone that says they want to make a change in their life and emulate what I&#8217;ve done in mine. Then they proceed to ramble on about all the things that are precluding them and hindering them from success. They spend all this time to compose an email to me, telling me about their family problems, medical ailments, emotional challenges &#8211; Poor Me, Woe Is Me &#8211; &#8220;If you only knew what it&#8217;s like Omar, You are sooo lucky&#8230;&#8221;   STOP!</p>
<p>Look at yourself. NO &#8211; I mean really look at yourself. Are you earning at least 10k per month on  autopilot yet? Why not? List the reasons. Now &#8211; are you ready&#8230;  CHANGE THOSE THINGS IN YOUR LIFE! It&#8217;s such a simple concept that most of the people that have read this very post &#8211; already dismissed the content by the time they got to this sentence because the negative financial programing of their brain simply would not let them consider the notion.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s always easier to point the finger and say &#8220;Well he&#8217;s just lucky.&#8221; than it is to actually humble oneself, admit failure and model that successful &#8220;lucky&#8221; person. If you want what a man has, then just do what a man does. People tell me they want to have my success, but they want it NOW. They want it without the hard work. They want it with little or no effort. They basically want to keep doing the same thing that they&#8217;ve been doing (or less) yet all of a sudden make a bunch more money. Huhh??? Did you know that the definition of insanity is the act of repeating the same action each time expecting a different result?</p>
<p>Wanting and Deciding are two completely frames of mind. I wanted to quit my job loooong before I actually decided to. I wanted to have a multiple six figure income loooooong before I decided to create one. How did I create it you ask? Well, the method I chose was sales and later, more specifically internet marketing. But the method was not as important as the mind set.  Pay close attention here&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><em>Regardless of the method you chose to become abundantly wealthy you will fail miserably if you do not discipline yourself to only partake in positive actions that support that decision. </em></strong></p>
<p>I have students that will swear up and down to me about how committed they are to their mission of online success, yet they repeatedly send me mafia wars requests, or farmville requests on facebook. Now &#8211; how does playing video games help you acheive financial freedom? Better yet how many millionaires are on your mafia wars team or play farmville with you? NONE? Hmmmm&#8230; I wonder why that is?  Actually, I know the answer and that answer is: Because we see computers as a tool and not a toy. It is because we value our time and we understand that our success and the success of those that learn from us depends on the productive use of our time. We understand that the actions we take today give rise to the finances of tomorrow.</p>
<p><strong>Here are the top 10 reasons why I feel most people suck at making money.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#10 They are afraid to buy and therefor concurrently afraid to sell.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#9 They spend way to much time hypnotized by television and the negativity it ensues.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#8 They surrond themselves with broke people instead of successful people.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#7 They play video games in their spare time instead of focusing on their financial prosperity.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#6 They succomb to the negativity of biased liberal media and they let it consume them.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#5 They refuse to embrace their FEARS.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#4 They believe in luck instead of themselves.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#3 They lack organization of home space, work space and MIND SPACE.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#2 They &#8220;Question&#8221; instead of asking questions.</strong></p>
<p><strong>#1 They simply have not DECIDED that they WILL be successful and wealthy.</strong></p>
<p>It always intrigues me when someone says the phrase &#8220;When  I BECOME a millionaire&#8230;&#8221;  I always give them this dumbfounded expression and ask &#8220;Do you mean like when a caterpillar BECOMES a butterfly?&#8221;  You see there&#8217;s that negative financial brainwash talking again. People don&#8217;t simply BECOME millionaires. Millionaire status is something we have to ACHIEVE. So by telling yourself that you will one day BECOME wealthy you are just propagating the false notion that one day you&#8217;ll wake up rich. Wake up kiddo, there is no Santa.</p>
<p>Instead, program your mind to BELIEVE in yourself by speaking that which isn&#8217;t as if it were and then your physical being will cause the decision to manifest itself. Does it sound like a bunch of hog wash to you? Well &#8211; then there&#8217;s that brainwashing taking over again. Just let the wall down and embrace the concept that that this sort of thinking, though different, peculiar and perhaps even &#8220;silly&#8221; could very well be the change you need to make you better at making money.</p>

The butterflies in your stomach are not because of the people in front of you but rather because of the fear you have of saying the wrong thing. The only way to remove that fear is through preparedness. Here is a funny example of a time when that didn&#8217;t happen.</p>

<p>Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listeners.</p>
<p>In public speaking, as in any form of communication, there are five basic elements, often expressed as &#8220;who is saying what to whom using what medium with what effects?&#8221; The purpose of public speaking can range from simply transmitting information, to motivating people to act, to simply telling a story. Good orators should be able to change the emotions of their listeners, not just inform them. Public speaking can also be considered a discourse community. Interpersonal communication and public speaking have several components that embrace such things as motivational speaking, leadership/personal development, business, customer service, large group communication, and mass communication. Public speaking can be a powerful tool to use for purposes such as motivation, influence, persuasion, informing, translation, or simply entertaining. Here&#8217;s another &#8220;slip up&#8221; video&#8230; this one is bad&#8230;</p>

<p>Effective public speaking can be developed by joining a club such as Rostrum, Toastmasters International, Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC), Speaking Circles or International Training in Communication (ITC) in which members are assigned exercises to improve their speaking skills. Members learn by observation and practice, and hone their skills by listening to constructive suggestions followed by new public speaking exercises. These include:</p>
<p>* Oratory<br />
* The use of gestures<br />
* Control of the voice (inflection)<br />
* Vocabulary, register, word choice<br />
* Speaking notes<br />
* Using humor<br />
* Developing a relationship with the audience</p>
<p>Using a forum such as Toastmasters to practice public speaking skills after receiving professional training is a time-tested approach to developing one&#8217;s ability to speak well. It is difficult to really receive any formal training, but Forensics can still be taught and practiced by those seeking to improve their public communication skills. The organization is among one of the largest nationally recognized that specializes in the improvement and networking of effective communication skills throughout the world.</p>
<p>The new millennium has seen a notable increase in the number of training solutions offered in the form of video and on-line courses. Video can provide significant training potential by revealing to the student actual examples of behaviors to emulate in addition to verbal knowledge transfer.</p>

In sales, the key is to keep the humor simple and not to target individuals but rather situations and experiences. Here is an example of a YouTube video that&#8217;s gotten well over a million plays because of its humor.</p>

<p>Now that was funny! But 1.2 million viewers is nothing to laugh about. Think about this&#8230; What if this video displayed your URL at the bottom and only 1% of its viewers actually went to your site? Thats 12,000 unique new visitors to your site. Now what if only 1% of them purchased your $97 product? That would be a profit of $11,640.00 !  Are you laughing now? Read on&#8230;<span id="more-177"></span></p>
<p>Humor operates on an emotional level, driving home your message in a far more memorable way than words alone. Humor makes sensitive topics more approachable while summarizing and reinforcing points that would otherwise be lost.</p>
<p>In sales, there’s often a period of bargaining about the price of a product or service before the sale is completed. One study specifically looked at the value of humor in getting your client to pay a higher price. They found that when the seller used jokes and other verbal humor, the buyer was willing to pay a higher price. And this approach was effective for both male and female salespersons, and with both male and female buyers.3</p>
<p>President Reagen knew the power of humor in communication, and in bargaining. Prior to his first meeting with Michael Gorbachev in the SALT talks with the Soviet Union, there was a great deal of tension. There was considerable coolness in the initial stages of their meeting. This was no surprise, since Reagen had often referred to the Soviet Union as the &#8220;Evil Empire.&#8221; Reagen melted the chilly atmosphere of the meeting by telling Gorbachev this joke:</p>

<li>Moscow has been having a terrible problem with people speeding, so the Moscow police were given strict orders to give anyone caught speeding a ticket. One day Gorbachev is late getting to the Kremlin, so he says to his driver, &#8220;You get in the back and let me drive. We’ll get there faster.&#8221;
<p>They speed by a couple of motorcycle cops, and one of them takes off after the car. He comes back ten minutes later, and his buddy asks, &#8220;Well, did you give him a ticket?&#8221; &#8220;No, I didn’t.&#8221; &#8220;Why not? Who was it?&#8221; &#8220;I don’t know, but his driver was Gorbachev.&#8221;</li>

<p>Gorbachev loved the joke, and from that point on, tensions were eased and considerable progress was made in the bargaining. The shared laughter facilitated the bargaining process by creating a more positive climate for debate.</p>
<p>In conclusion, you should be creative and conjur up ways and methods of implimenting humor in your sales business. Like music and art, humor transcends many cultural barriers and brings people together. That closeness builds trust and gives rise to more sales!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Would you rather your customers be satisfied or loyal? Don&#8217;t get me wrong, satisfaction is of utmost importance but a satisfied customer will shop anywhere!  You want your customers to be LOYAL and that comes through impeccable customer service.</p>
<p>Yesterday I drove all the way across town to pick up my wife&#8217;s new cell phone&#8230; &#8220;The Rant&#8221; She&#8217;s been hounding me about it for weeks so I decided to buy it for her as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately they were out and it had to be special ordered so it didn&#8217;t arrive until after the holidays. When the phone arrived, my wife and I jumped in the car and drove across town to pick it up at the Sprint store. She was and still is very happy with her new &#8220;Rant&#8221; but as I was driving her car to the store I could barely see out the windows which brings me to the topic of this post.</p>
<p><span id="more-133"></span></p>
<p>As we were pulling out of the store I see a young man on the side of the road waving to traffic and holding a small sign advertising a car wash for $10 with a free vacum service. I said.. &#8220;what the heck&#8221; I made a u-turn and pulled into the car wash. He smiled and gave us a friendly gesture as we pulled in. This was one of those automatic car washes with the big spinning brushes. I&#8217;m not usually very fond of these places but the car really needed it so what the heck.</p>
<p>As we pulled into the entrance there was an attendant speaking to the driver in front of me. I was reading the signs and special offers that they had posted and the way it was set up truly impressed me and attracted my attention. As the car in front of me pulled into the car wash, the attendant walked over to my driver side window. She wore an apron and an ear to ear smile. She welcomed me and began to talk explain the different services that they offered. She handed me a towel before I had even paid, instinctively I took it and said &#8220;Whats this for?&#8221; she explained that it is a free towel for me to dry up any extra droplets of water that may be left on the car. &#8220;Hmm Ok I said.&#8221;  She was so polite and friendly and she explained everything that the car was going to get done in the car wash. She even suggested the Teflon protection because she said she did it on her car and it made it &#8220;sparkle&#8221; (social proof).</p>
<p>I gave her my credit card and she handed me a token for the vacuum cleaner machine and a free (unadvertised) air freshner $1.00 value. Then after she ran my credit card through the machine she handed me a $3.00 coupon for my next wash PLUS a $3.00 mail in rebate! She did this all with polite and friendly conversation. I felt like I was getting so many free gifts! I hadn&#8217;t even gotten the car washed yet but I was already a satisfied customer. I told her that the only reason we chose her car wash is because we saw the young man waving by the side of the road. She smiled and explained how that is her son and he is doing the job for some extra cash. I instinctivly gave her a $2.00 tip at that point.</p>
<p>I put the car in neutral and let the hydraulic track pull it through the wash machine. The washing itself was no different than any other one I had ever been through but all my wife and I spoke about as we went through it was what great service we were getting. When we pulled out of the machine, we parked next to a vacum and inserted our free token. My wife noticed that the machine normally costs only 25 cents, but we were still so excited that it was free. I used my free towel to wipe down the parts of the car that the ginourmous air dryers missed and all the while I can still see that young man waving in more traffic.</p>
<p>As we drove back home my wife and I continued talking about the great car wash we had just gotten. Keep in mind, we did half the work ourselves but it didn&#8217;t matter to us, we weren&#8217;t even thinking about that. It was all about the great service and &#8220;percieved value&#8221; of all the &#8220;FREE&#8221; stuff and future discounts we recieved. I turned to my wife and saif that I would be driving my own car to that car wash even though its all the way across town. That service had won my LOYALTY, not just my satisfaction.</p>
<p>So I began to think of the precise actions that gave rise to these feelings of loyalty and how I can impliment them into my own online business. Customer service is of paramount importance. Perceived value always needs to be greater than advertised value. The customer needs to be welcomed and greeted like a friend and needs to be motivated with social proof. Ultimately we need to UNDER PROMISE and OVER DELIVER. This is a surefire way to insure not just customer satisfaction but LOYALTY as well!</p>
